LUL is expanding its international network of qualified and experienced language teachers. We welcome teachers from all countries who can deliver high quality lessons in their native language or in any language in which they are professionally trained.
We are particularly interested in teachers of Arabic, French, Spanish, German, Russian, Mandarin, Italian and Urdu. Teachers of other languages and regional dialects are also strongly encouraged to apply. LUL values linguistic diversity and aims to offer a wide range of languages to learners.
Role Description
As a language teacher with LUL, you will deliver engaging, structured and well planned lessons to learners of different backgrounds. You may teach one-to-one or in small groups, depending on the needs of your learners. Lessons may focus on general language skills, conversation practice, academic preparation or professional language use.
You may teach online or, where appropriate, in person. Teachers based outside the United Kingdom are welcome, provided they have stable internet access and can offer professional and reliable teaching.
Requirements
Experience in teaching your language
Recognised qualification in languages, linguistics or education
Clear, confident use of English for communication with LUL
Strong planning and organisational skills
Ability to create a supportive and motivating learning environment
Commitment to professionalism, respect and confidentiality
